The $100 Week™ is a 5-day, browser-based financial behavior simulation for students ages 8–18. Each day, students receive a simulated weekly budget and face a real-world financial scenario — spend, save, invest, help a friend, navigate pressure. Their choices generate a FLIQ Score™ — a behavioral intelligence profile across four domains that tells educators not what students know about money, but how they actually behave with it under pressure. No curriculum needed. No app to download. No student accounts. Just a browser and a join code.
Most financial education delivers content — lessons, worksheets, videos. Students can pass a quiz about budgeting and still spend their first paycheck in 48 hours. The gap isn't knowledge. It's behavior.
There is no standardized tool that gives educators real behavioral data about how their students make financial decisions under pressure. The $100 Week™ was built to fill that gap — starting with a free, 5-day simulation and a behavioral profile every student can receive in under a week.
The result is a dataset that no other program generates: observable, decision-level behavioral data that reveals the financial instincts students bring into every real-money situation they'll face for the rest of their lives.
Every choice a student makes in the simulation is scored across four behavioral dimensions. The FLIQ Score™ is not a knowledge test — it's a behavioral fingerprint captured in real-time decision-making pressure.
FLIQ Score™ ranges from 0–8. Students receive a behavioral profile label (Explorer → Exceptional) and a written description of their financial decision-making tendencies. Facilitators receive a class-level report with trait averages and a targeted facilitation insight.
The $100 Week™ automatically adjusts scenario complexity, language, and starting budget based on the age band selected by the facilitator. All three bands use the same underlying FLIQ Score™ framework — enabling longitudinal tracking as students grow.
Designed for: YMCAs, afterschool programs, community organizations, school districts, charter networks, workforce development programs, and youth-facing nonprofits.
The $100 Week™ completed its initial pilot phase across two schools — one in Georgia, one in California — representing both Title I and charter school populations.
All pilot data was collected anonymously. No personally identifiable student information was stored at any point. Organizations interested in co-designing a larger pilot study are encouraged to reach out directly.
The FLIQ Score™ generated in the simulation is not a one-time result — it is a longitudinal behavioral data layer that connects to every product in the WealthWise Kids™ platform. Organizations that partner on The $100 Week™ gain access to a complete financial literacy ecosystem built on the same behavioral science framework.
